MiddleEasy.com reports that Japanese wrestler Yoshihiro Takayama has been paralyzed from the neck down after suffering an injury while wrestling in Osaka, Japan for the DDT promotion back in May.

The injury was not known at the time it occurred and the seriousness of his condition came to light today. The family is having financial issues revolving around his medical care. Right now there is no word yet as to how fans can assist,
