Zoey Serrano’s first match in TNA didn’t go the way she wanted, as the former WWE star took a loss after things fell apart with her own partner.
Serrano teamed with Xia Brookside against Indi Hartwell and Harley Hudson during September 3 iMPACT epiosde. The match came after Serrano made her surprise TNA arrival on the August 27, 2026 episode of iMPACT by attacking Hartwell and leaving her laid out. This time, Serrano found herself on the wrong end of the result.
During the match, Serrano accidentally struck Brookside, creating an opening for Hartwell and Hudson to take control. Things only got worse from there, as Brookside was later seen yelling at Serrano over what happened.
The tension between the two continued before Brookside was knocked off the ring apron. Hartwell then locked Brookside in a submission hold and forced her to tap out, giving Hartwell and Hudson the victory. There was also more chaos involving Serrano during the match, as she attacked a fan while Daria Rae was sitting on commentary.
That gives Serrano a loss in her first TNA match just days after making a statement by attacking Hartwell. Instead of immediately building momentum, her debut ended with miscommunication, frustration with her own partner and Hartwell getting the last laugh.
Serrano came into TNA by putting Indi Hartwell down, but her first match ended with Hartwell standing tall and her own team falling apart around her. Now the question is whether the problems with Xia Brookside were just a one-night mistake or the start of something bigger.
