Jacob Fatu may have just injected new life into The Bloodline, but WWE already appears to have another member of the family on its radar.
According to TRNBCKL Gold, there has been long-standing interest from WWE in Zilla Fatu. While his arrival is not considered imminent, sources indicate he remains someone to keep an eye on as the future unfolds.
This comes at a time when WWE is fully invested in Roman Reigns’ latest Bloodline chapter. Sources close to the company have indicated that Roman’s current run as World Heavyweight Champion on Monday Night RAW is not expected to end anytime soon, and WWE has been very pleased with how things have gone since WrestleMania 42.
Jacob Fatu’s addition to the group has also been viewed internally as a major boost for the storyline, giving The Bloodline fresh energy after years on top. With that in mind, the possibility of eventually adding Zilla Fatu to the mix becomes even more interesting.
Zilla, the son of the late Umaga, has generated plenty of attention outside WWE and has made no secret of his desire to carve out his own legacy. WWE’s interest in him is nothing new, but the timing of this latest update is notable considering how heavily the company is leaning into The Bloodline once again.
Nothing appears to be happening immediately, and there is no indication that Zilla is on his way to WWE in the near future. Still, with Roman Reigns leading RAW, Jacob Fatu now officially part of the family business, and WWE showing no signs of slowing down with The Bloodline, Zilla’s name is one fans may want to remember. If WWE eventually brings him in, the Bloodline saga could gain another dangerous piece with deep family ties.
Do you think Zilla Fatu belongs in WWE and The Bloodline, or should he build his name elsewhere first? Sound off in the comments below.
