Zilla Fatu’s time in House of Glory may be over. After reports linked the son of Umaga to WWE, Fatu dropped the HOG Crown Jewel Championship and appeared to receive a heartfelt sendoff that had plenty of fans wondering if the next stop is Orlando.

At HOG: High Intensity on August 7 in Jamaica, New York, Fatu lost the Crown Jewel Championship to Amazing Red after Red connected with a top-rope Code Red and followed it up with two Frog Splashes to finish the match. The biggest moment came after the bell.

As fans chanted “Thank you, Zilla,” Amazing Red shook Fatu’s hand before wishing him well: “I’m usually on the other side of stuff like this. Zilla, real simple: good luck.” The commentary team then added even more fuel to the speculation: “The best is yet to come for Zilla Fatu.”

After Fatu bowed to Red in a show of respect, the announcers continued talking as if this was the end of his HOG run.

“Greener pastures, bigger stages await Zilla Fatu. A lot of success awaits that young man in the future.”

The farewell comes less than a month after reports claimed Zilla is expected to begin with WWE soon, with another report suggesting the current plan is for him to start in NXT before eventually becoming part of The Bloodline story.

Whether that move happens immediately or not, Friday night’s emotional goodbye certainly felt like the end of one chapter—and possibly the beginning of a much bigger one.
