The June 9 episode of WWE NXT featured a showdown with the WWE Women’s North American Championship on the line. Tatum Paxley put her momentum and title reign to the test against Zaria.
Paxley has quickly established herself as one of the cornerstones of NXT’s women’s division since capturing the Women’s North American Championship.
Meanwhile, Zaria has continued to turn heads with her dominant performances. Now that Zaria is done with Sol Ruca after her main roster call-up, it is her time to gun for a title.
This was a hard-fought match with a lot of near-falls. The crowd was on fire for the whole thing, and Tatum Paxley almost had it on a couple of occasions.
In the end, Zaria nailed an F5 to become the new NXT Women’s North American Champion. This was a big win, and she was finally able to step out on her own as a champion.
