TNA Slammiversary 2026 went down at the Agganis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts. The TNA Knockouts World Championship was on the line as former best friends Léi Yǐng Lee and Xia Brookside went from standing side by side to wanting nothing more than to take each other out.

Lee came into Slammiversary in her second reign as Knockouts World Champion after defeating Arianna Grace for the title at the April 15 TNA Impact tapings, which aired on May 7. Regaining the championship was a big moment for Lee after everything she had gone through over the previous few months.

The issues between Lee and Brookside dated back to Rebellion. While Lee challenged Grace for the Knockouts World Championship, Brookside shocked everyone by turning on her longtime friend and helping Grace keep the title. Things escalated from there, and we found ourselves at Slammiversary.

Brookside eventually earned her shot at the title by pinning Lee in the Knockouts Champions Challenge, setting up their championship clash at Slammiversary. With the title on the line and months of bad blood between them, both women had plenty of reasons to walk out of Boston with the final word.

Lee took the fight to her challenger early on to gain the upper hand. Then Xia Brookside was able to turn the tables on her, but Lee fought back with a flurry of headbutts and so much more. There were a lot of near falls along the way as both of them battled back and forth. Eventually, the top turnbuckle was exposed, and Lee took a shot to the face before Xia Brookside nailed her finisher and got the win.
