'Get A DUI' Trends After Usos Title Win At WWE Money In The Bank

WWE WrestleMania Plans For Tag Team Titles Still Up In The Air

The Usos have been dominant champions since winning the SmackDown tag team titles last July. Alpha Academy has had a shorter reign but has had some great segments with RK-Bro since defeating them for the titles earlier this year. Fans have been wondering what the plans for the WWE tag team division are for WrestleMania 38.

Thus far nothing has developed on television. There also have not been many reports on how the Raw and SmackDown tag titles will be used at WrestleMania. It would make sense to have both championships defended on the shows, but so far WWE has not kicked off any Mania storylines involving the Usos or Alpha Academy.

In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer discussed WWE’s plans for the tag team titles. While nothing has materialized as of yet, fans should be expecting the wheels to start turning as soon as next week. The upcoming episodes of Raw and SmackDown could play a huge role in setting the road to WrestleMania in that regard.

"They’ve set up nothing for the Usos, but I guess maybe that starts next week because they beat the Viking Raiders clean. There’s no reason to bring that back. I’m sure that the Raw men’s tag team title thing will probably come out of what happens on Monday night."

WWE is notorious for not paying as much attention to the tag team division as fans would prefer. There are a ton of talented and well-established teams who would love a shot at WrestleMania 38. We should know within the next couple of weeks who that might be.

WrestleMania season brings all kinds of surprises, twists, and turns. The Usos and Alpha Academy are just waiting their turn. Something should happen to excite fans of WWE’s tag team division shortly. With so many other stories to tell, patience will have to be a virtue.
