Ivy Nile’s future with WWE could be approaching a major decision point. Her current contract is set to expire this fall, and it remains unclear whether the two sides have started working toward a new deal.
According to Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp, WWE creative sources said plans involving Nile have been under development for quite some time. Those discussions included making a significant change to her presentation.
Nile hasn’t appeared on WWE Raw in months, but the creative talks suggest the company hasn’t completely moved on from her. The timing is especially important now that her contract is nearing its expiration.
It was not stated whether WWE has offered Nile a new contract or whether a deal has already been reached. However, the fact that creative plans were being discussed in recent months could indicate that WWE wants to keep her on the roster.
Nile signed with WWE in 2020 after competing on NBC’s Titan Games. She later became part of Diamond Mine in NXT before moving to the main roster alongside the Creed Brothers.
Her main-roster run has struggled to gain consistent momentum, with long stretches away from Raw and few sustained programs. A major character change could give WWE a chance to reset her presentation, but the company may first need to lock down her future.
WWE now has a decision to make before Nile’s contract runs out this fall. The company can move forward with the plans it has been developing—or risk allowing another underused talent to test the market.
