WWE is holding SummerSlam on August 21st and they are going to have a packed venue in Allegiant Stadium when the big night finally rolls around. The biggest party of the summer will be a very hot ticket and the sales show that.
The company is not putting all of the tickets in Allegiant Stadium up for sale, but those that are available are gong in rapid fashion. Tickets officially went on sale today, but the presale has been rocking the box office all week.
During Wrestling Observer Radio this morning, Dave Meltzer stated that 37,000 tickets have been sold at this point. Ticketmaster has listed the capacity for SummerSlam at 41,661. They could add more tickets, but that is the current number.
We’ll have to see if WWE opens up more tickets for fans in Allegiant Stadium. Those tickets have been selling in a hurry without any matches announced for the show yet.
