WWE will not be bringing back Ricky Martinez.
Bryan Alvarez reported on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Live that Ricky Martinez will not be brought back to the company in the future. According to Alvarez there was a bump in his match back on July 31st against Lio Rush and WWE officials were not impressed with it.
“He made a mistake and they frown upon it,” said Alvarez.
Alvarez didn’t elaborate which bump WWE officials were not impressed with. After reviewing the match we can only speculate it could have been the bump when Martinez came down with his foot on the top of Rush’s head. You can see the spot at the 1:30 mark below.
