The October 13 episode of WWE NXT is shaping up to be a great show, and it will build towards the next Premium Live Event. So, the company has booked solid matches to keep fans engaged throughout the night.
NXT Championship No. 1 Contender’s Match: Tony D’Angelo vs. Myles Borne
Grayson Waller needs another challenger, and tonight he’ll find out who is next. Mason Rook was originally supposed to challenge Waller after earning his opportunity last month, but Rook has since been pulled from action indefinitely. Waller instead issued an open challenge last week, which EK Prosper managed to answer by sneaking through the crowd and getting into the ring.
Waller got through Prosper, so NXT is going back to the contender picture tonight. Tony D’Angelo and Myles Borne will meet one-on-one, with the winner earning the next opportunity at Waller’s NXT Championship. So we’ll have to see who’ll challenge Waller in the end.
Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Quarterfinal Matches: Noam Dar & Romeo Moreno vs. Fraxiom, Vanity Project vs. Mini Vikingo & Chaz “Starboy” Hall
Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Quarterfinals continue and WWE has booked two matches for the show. The first one will see Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno take on Fraxiom. In the second match, Mini Vikingo and Chaz “Starboy” Hall square off against the Vanity Project. So it remains to be seen who will advance to the semi-finals when all is said and done.
Saquon Shugars vs. Tristan Angels
Saquon Shugars is also back in singles action when he faces Tristan Angels. Shugars was part of the NXT Championship picture only a few weeks ago when he faced Mason Rook and Tony D’Angelo in a Triple Threat No. 1 Contender’s Match. Rook won that night, leaving Shugars looking for another way to work himself back up the card. Tonight gives him that opportunity against Angels. So fans are waiting to see who will win in the end.
