WWE wasted no time setting up next week’s card during the WWE NXT episode on October 6, 2026, with four matches officially announced for the October 13 episode. That includes an NXT Championship No. 1 Contender’s Match and the start of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic quarterfinals.
Tony D’Angelo will face Myles Borne in an NXT Championship No. 1 Contender’s Match, with the winner moving one step closer to a title shot.
The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will also continue with two quarterfinal matches. Vanity Project will face Chaz “Starboy” Hall and Mini Vikingo, while Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno will take on Fraxiom.
Saquon Shugars is also set for singles action against Tristan Angels.

NXT already has plenty lined up for next Tuesday, especially with the Dusty Classic moving deeper into the tournament and a new title contender set to be decided.
