WWE’s AI-style video featuring Zaria just got flagged with a community note — and that’s now becoming the biggest part of the story.

After the stylized promo aired during the April 28 episode of WWE NXT, the same clip posted online has since been hit with a community note warning viewers that the footage was created using artificial intelligence and should be clearly labeled. The note appeared directly under WWE’s social media post and made the claim in plain terms.

“This video was created with AI and needs to be appropriately labeled as such.”

That community note quickly became a talking point among fans, especially since the original broadcast did not identify the segment as AI-generated when it aired on television.

The video itself focused on Zaria following her Last Woman Standing match, featuring dark visuals, dramatic narration, and stylized imagery that many viewers immediately suspected was generated using artificial intelligence.

Once the clip was shared online, fans began picking apart the visuals and questioning whether WWE had leaned on AI tools rather than its traditional production style. That speculation only grew once the community note was added to the post, giving the situation a new level of visibility. Some viewers openly mocked the visuals and criticized the decision to use artificial intelligence at all.

“This is proof they use AI SLOP LOL”

Others questioned why WWE would rely on AI production when the company has built its reputation on high-end video packages.

“Why use AI slop? Like seriously?!!!”

More reactions followed as the clip circulated, with some fans saying the visuals didn’t match WWE’s usual look.

“I’ve never seen such an AI heavy video in my life.”

The timing also stands out because WWE leadership recently confirmed during an internal town hall that artificial intelligence is already being used behind the scenes. Executives explained that AI tools are currently being used to track fan reactions, analyze audience engagement, and help guide creative and touring decisions.

Now, with a community note attached directly to the video itself, attention has shifted away from speculation and toward whether WWE will begin labeling AI-generated content moving forward.

Do you think WWE should clearly label AI-generated content when it airs, or is this something fans are making a bigger deal out of than it needs to be? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
