WWE isn’t wasting any time locking down new wrestler names, as the company has filed another trademark application just one day after submitting paperwork for two other names.

On November 4, 2026, WWE filed to trademark the name “Marquis Journey” with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The application lists the name for use in professional wrestling performances, although WWE hasn’t revealed who will be using it.

The filing covers wrestling exhibitions, live performances, television appearances, online entertainment, and other services connected to WWE programming. That’s standard language for these types of applications, but it makes one thing clear — WWE is securing the name for a potential wrestling character.

As for who Marquis Journey actually is, that’s still a mystery. The name could be intended for someone joining the WWE ID program or a new recruit heading to the Performance Center, but nothing has been confirmed.

And this isn’t the only name WWE has been working on. Just one day earlier, on November 3, WWE filed trademark applications for “Kato Sykes” and “Serena Thorn.” While the identity behind Serena Thorn remains unknown, the Kato Sykes name has already been connected to WWE ID prospect Conan Lycan.

Lycan has an interesting background heading into WWE. The former football player trained at Seth Rollins and Marek Brave’s Black and Brave Wrestling Academy and attended a WWE tryout earlier this year after being scouted by AJ Styles on the independent wrestling scene.

He’s also appeared on the Amazon Prime Video reality competition series Beast Games, giving him some television experience before his potential WWE career takes off.

With three new names filed in just two days, WWE clearly has some additions in the works. Whether Marquis Journey and Serena Thorn are intended for new WWE ID prospects, Performance Center recruits, or wrestlers already in the developmental system remains to be seen.

WWE has been busy securing names this week, and it’ll be interesting to see who eventually walks through the curtain using them. Kato Sykes already has a face attached to the name, but Marquis Journey and Serena Thorn are still waiting for their introductions.

What do you think about WWE’s latest wrestler names, and who do you think could be behind Marquis Journey and Serena Thorn? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
