Nikki Bella’s WWE run is apparently doing some serious business behind the scenes. The company is reportedly loving the numbers she’s pulling in, and it sounds like that could lead to WWE putting an even bigger spotlight on her.

According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, Nikki Bella has been getting plenty of praise within WWE lately. Her social media numbers have apparently been turning heads week after week.

“WrestleVotes is told that Nikki Bella has been drawing praise within WWE as of late, with her social media numbers continuing to impress week after week.”

The good news doesn’t stop with Instagram likes and online engagement either. Bella has reportedly blown past WWE’s expectations since returning, and she’s also delivering where it really matters for business — merchandise.

“Since returning to the company a few years back, Bella has exceeded internal expectations, not only in terms of her digital engagement but also within the merchandising department.”

That success could have a pretty nice payoff on television. One source believes WWE may be ready to lean into Bella even harder moving forward.

“A source noted to us that they wouldn’t be surprised to see the company put a bigger spotlight on Bella going forward.”

The timing of that report is pretty interesting too, because Bella already has a huge match coming her way. She’s set to challenge Chelsea Green for the WWE Women’s Championship on the October 30 episode of SmackDown, putting her right back into the title picture.

Bella has been getting plenty of attention on television lately as well. Her October 16 match against Paige got especially personal when the two started trolling each other with John Cena’s signature moves, including the STF, Five Knuckle Shuffle and even an Attitude Adjustment.

Paige eventually stole the win by using the ropes for leverage, but that loss clearly hasn’t knocked Bella out of WWE’s plans. Less than two weeks later, she’ll be fighting for the Women’s Championship while reports are emerging that the company is thrilled with what she’s bringing to the table.

Bella may not need to win every week to prove she’s still valuable to WWE, because the numbers are apparently doing plenty of talking for her. With a title match around the corner and the company reportedly considering an even bigger spotlight, her latest run could be about to kick into another gear.
