Kelani Jordan retained her title during the WWE NXT episode on September 8, 2026, but she didn’t get much time to enjoy it. Moments after putting away Jaida Parker, Jordan got jumped by Wren Sinclair—and things got ugly fast.
Jordan survived a hard-fought title defense against Parker, eventually avoiding the Hypnotic in the corner before sending Parker into the turnbuckle. She followed that up with the One of A Kind moonsault to get the three-count and keep the NXT Women’s Championship.
Then Wren Sinclair crashed the party. Sinclair attacked Jordan after the bell, grabbed a kendo stick and started unloading on the champion. She kept swinging and beating Jordan down until security finally rushed the ring and broke it up.
There was nothing subtle about this one. Sinclair wanted Kelani Jordan’s attention, and she got it by turning the champion’s celebration into a full-blown beatdown. Jordan may have walked out of the match still holding the title, but Wren Sinclair made sure she was the one everybody was talking about when the dust settled.
