The Wyatt Sicks are already being talked about behind the scenes after their WWE release, and now possible destinations for the faction are starting to come into focus.
The group — made up of Uncle Howdy (Bo Dallas), Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, and Nikki Cross — was among the talents cut by WWE on Friday, April 24 as part of the post-WrestleMania 42 roster releases. Their sudden exit quickly sparked questions about where the faction could show up next.
Now, there’s chatter inside TNA about what the future might hold for the group. During a discussion about released WWE talents, Sean Ross Sapp explained that people within TNA have been tossing around ideas about where the Wyatt Sicks could land. He revealed that AEW has been mentioned internally as a possible landing spot, even if that outcome isn’t expected to happen.
“People I talk to in TNA seem to think that Wyatt Sicks would end up in AEW. They're not going to AEW. I think they actually end up doing indie stuff together, TNA, MLW, and that.”
Instead of signing with one major promotion right away, the belief is that the group could stay together and move across multiple promotions, including independent shows, TNA appearances, and possibly MLW bookings.
The Wyatt Sicks had been featured regularly on WWE television since the summer of 2024, building momentum as a faction before wrapping up their storyline shortly before WrestleMania 42. Their final appearances came during the closing stretch of SmackDown programming leading into the event.
They weren’t alone in the wave of cuts either. WWE released 25 talents following WrestleMania 42, including several notable names such as Aleister Black, Zelina Vega, Apollo Crews, Andre Chase, and the Motor City Machine Guns.
There is also growing belief inside TNA that the Motor City Machine Guns could eventually land in AEW at some point, adding another layer to the speculation surrounding the fallout from WWE’s latest roster shake-up.
With multiple promotions already being mentioned and the faction having built-in chemistry, the Wyatt Sicks could easily make noise wherever they appear next. Their next move is still up in the air, but talk about possible destinations has clearly already started behind the scenes.
