Jacob Fatu didn’t just stand there while Roman Reigns got dropped on RAW. Once the cameras stopped rolling, he made his feelings even clearer by leaving Roman and The Usos behind.
Footage making the rounds from after the August 17 episode of Monday Night RAW shows what happened after Solo Sikoa and LA Knight walked away from the damage they had caused.
Roman was still recovering from the attack while Jimmy and Jey Uso regrouped around him. Jacob was there too, but he wasn’t exactly rushing over to make sure everyone was okay. He stood by himself in the corner and watched and then Fatu simply left.
Jacob climbed out of the ring alone and headed to the back without Roman or The Usos. There was no big confrontation and no dramatic announcement. He just decided he wasn’t sticking around with them. That moment looks even worse for Roman after what happened minutes earlier.
Roman had spent the closing segment treating Jacob like his personal attack dog. Fatu jumped Solo when Roman demanded it, only for Reigns to repeatedly order him to stop. Roman then put Ula Fala necklaces around Jimmy and Jey and called The Usos his “made men,” while Jacob stood off to the side looking increasingly disconnected from the whole thing.
Then Roman actually needed him. Solo turned on Reigns and drilled him with a Samoan Spike instead of attacking LA Knight. The Usos went after Solo, Knight jumped into the fight and eventually blocked Roman’s Superman Punch before planting him with the BFT.
Jacob never moved. He stayed in the corner and watched Roman and The Usos get taken apart before Solo and Knight walked out together. Even after the fight was over, Jacob apparently had no interest in suddenly playing happy family again.
The post-show footage doesn’t confirm that Jacob is completely done with Roman, but he’s certainly not acting like someone eager to fall back in line. Roman spent the night giving orders and rewarding The Usos. Jacob ended it by watching him get dropped and then walking out alone. Roman might have a much bigger Fatu problem than he realizes.
