A fan reached out to Meltzer on Twitter this past week, asking him which show was going to be better this year, WrestleMania or NXT Takeover. Meltzer said odds are NXT will have the better show. This answer doesn’t surprise Russo at all, but Hamin agrees with Meltzer partially due to WrestleMania’s extremely long running time. He also points out that certain NXT feuds actually have real heat, which is a novel idea for WWE.

After hearing that Daniel Bryan was being cleared for a return to the ring, Ryan Satin tweeted out wondering if WWE would throw Bryan into the WrestleMania main event and have him win to “course correct” the last few years. Russo says he’d find it difficult to book Bryan to defeat Brock Lesnar on paper because that would ruin his credibility as a writer. In a legitimate fight, it would be tough to believe that Bryan could beat Lesnar.

On one of Ryan Satin’s audio shows this past week, he and his friends were insinuating that Russo was looking at wrestlers’ penises during his time in the business. Russo points out that these guys don’t know locker room etiquette because they’ve never been in one. He informs that he’d never go into the locker room when the performers were showering.

That sums up today’s episode of Vince Russo’s The Brand. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya tomorrow for another recap!
