Russo is confused and wonders why Meltzer would take it as a great compliment to have been worked by the boys for all those years. He points out that he’s been making the same points as JBL for a long time, and he still wonders why anyone would pay for Meltzer’s services.

Hamin informs that he was involved in one of the last Piper’s Pits of all time before Piper’s passing. He and Piper went back and forth in the ring during their segment but it ended kind of flat. They got to the back and Piper asked him if he wanted to go back out. He agreed and they went back out to the ring where Piper whipped him with his belt all over the ring. When they got back to the backstage area Piper kissed him on the forehead and it was evident to Hamin that Piper appreciated his work that night. Hamin points out that this was probably the high point of his career.

At another point this week, Ryan Satin called out Jonny Bravo for poor journalism, accusing him of giving actual journalists a bad name. Russo says Satin’s not a journalist. He says Satin covers fake fights and convinces himself that it’s real. Hamin points out that while Bravo’s video may have been somewhat of a letdown, he did something that WWE creative hasn’t been able to do in years – he ended with a cliffhanger, leaving fans wanting more.

Lane plays a clip of PWTorch’s Wade Keller from this past week, in which Keller said Roman Reigns is just out to prove how cool he is in order to impress his college buddies. Russo has no idea where Keller is getting this point of view. He points out that Keller is a 45 year old man worrying about these types of thing.
