Vince Russo has a clear idea of the kind of wrestlers he would love to get his hands on in JCW, and it should not shock anyone that he went straight for the darker character-driven acts.
During a live stream for Total Non-Stop Agony: The Rise and Fall of TNA, Russo took questions from fans about his book, TNA, WWE, JCW, and the wrestling business. One fan asked Russo who he would like to have in JCW from AEW and WWE. Russo said there are plenty of people he would love to work with, but the first example he brought up was the Wyatt 6.
“Link Master, who do you like to have in JCW from AEW and WWE? Um, oh my god, bro. There’s so many people. My god. I I I I couldn’t imagine, bro, what what we would be able to do with a Wyatt 6.”
Russo then doubled down on how much creative potential he sees in a group like that. Russo also brought up Killer Kross and Scarlett as two names he would love to see in JCW one day.
“Can you imagine? Can you imagine what we would be able to do with them?”
“II’d love to see Killer Cross and Scarlet in JCW at some point. Yeah, there’s so many people, you know, that that I would love to work with.”
That answer fits everything Russo was saying throughout the stream. He repeatedly pushed JCW as a place built around wild characters, storylines, and an Attitude Era-style presentation. He also praised Violent Jay for creating characters that he believes nobody in major wrestling can match right now.
