Vince Russo thinks TNA has completely written him out of the company’s history. After watching this year’s Hall of Fame inductions, the former TNA writer admitted he couldn’t help but notice that despite spending nearly a decade with the promotion, his name never seems to come up.

Speaking on The Coach and Bro Show, Russo said he had been watching TNA videos from Bound for Glory, including the Hall of Fame inductions for ODB, Konnan and Amazing Red. Having worked closely with all three, he said it felt strange seeing so many familiar faces without hearing any mention of his own time in the company.

“I swear, I nearly — like, I was watching some TNA stuff over the weekend on YouTube. I’m watching the Hall of Fame inductions. I worked with all of them — ODB when I was there, and Konnan, and every single one, Amazing Red. I’ve known him since he was 19. I swear to God, bro, for whatever reason, I think I’ve been totally erased from TNA history. I spent 10 years there. There’s never any mention — like, nothing, like whatsoever.”

Russo also made it clear he isn’t accusing anyone in the current TNA office of intentionally slighting him. In fact, he said he doesn’t even know the person currently running the company and has never had any issues with them. That said, he still can’t shake the feeling that his contributions have simply been erased.

“And I don’t even know the dude that runs the place. I don’t know him, never said anything about the dude, but I swear, bro, I think they wiped me from TNA history.”

Whether Russo is right or not, it’s obvious the Hall of Fame ceremony brought those feelings back to the surface. After spending nearly 10 years with the promotion during one of its most talked-about eras, he clearly believes his role deserves at least some acknowledgment.

Do you think Vince Russo’s contributions to TNA deserve more recognition, or has the company simply moved on from that era? Let us know in the comments.
