Val Venis is not trying to calm anything down. If anything, he is begging for this Michelle Obama controversy to get even messier.
The former WWE star jumped on Twitter after a report claimed the Obamas are considering a defamation lawsuit against Josh Hokit, the UFC, and Paramount after Hokit shouted, “Michelle Obama is a man!” during the UFC Freedom 250 event. Venis reacted by daring them to stop considering it and actually file the lawsuit so that she can take a chromosome test.
“Considering????? PLEASE STOP “CONSIDERING” AND JUST DO IT! Let the chromosome test commence! Settle the controversy transparently in front of the world.”
Venis then tried to turn the whole thing into a betting topic, asking people to make predictions about Michelle Obama’s gender through prediction market sites: “LET THE BETS BEGIN: IS MICHELLE OBAMA A MAN?”
He was not done there. In another tweet, Venis claimed there is no public record of Michelle Obama taking a chromosome test and suggested Hokit should not apologize for calling Michelle Obama a man.
“There is no public record or evidence that “Michelle” Obama has ever taken a chromosome test. It’s a simple test. Josh Hokit made a claim about “lady” Obama. “Lady” Obama could have run to get a legit test and sued Hokit into dark ages. But Michael Obama did not get a test and did not sue. Hopefully, Hokit will NOT apologize and cower. You know who was not a coward? Joan Rivers!”
For the record, Venis has not provided evidence for his claims about Michelle or Barack Obama. His latest tweets come after he already accused the Obamas of grooming children in response to a video of them reading to kids at a new Chicago Public Library branch at the Obama Presidential Center.
“Two gay men grooming children on how to roar. Not one mention of Jesus Christ.”
This all started after Titus O’Neil defended Michelle Obama following Hokit’s original UFC Freedom 250 comments. Titus praised her as a “first class human being” and urged people to show basic decency, but Venis fired back by accusing Titus of defending criminals because of transgender identity.
“🚨📢 Delusional. Spending time with criminals, then portraying them as victims or heroes because they’re transgender, doesn’t change the fact that they’re criminals. A preceived Identity does not erase criminal conduct. Treating it as if it does is a statist delusion I cannot understand.”
Venis also doubled down when a fan called him racist for repeatedly referring to Michelle Obama as a man: “Oh, calling out a hardcore criminal is racist???? Give your head a shake and grow up. That man Michael Obama is just as much a crook as his gay husband Obama.”
Dana White previously distanced himself from Hokit’s original remarks, calling that kind of rhetoric “nasty and false.” Still, Venis seems more than willing to keep the fight going, even while making unsupported claims and daring the Obamas to take legal action. So, Val Venis is not backing off at all. Instead, he is pushing for the controversy to move into court and trying to turn the whole thing into a public spectacle.
