Tyler Breeze wants a shot in AEW. After clearing up his WWE contract status, Prince Pretty directly stated that he would love to become part of Tony Khan’s company.
The conversation started on September 1, 2026, after someone on social media claimed Breeze was still under WWE contract. Breeze quickly corrected that claim. With Breeze confirming he was no longer tied to WWE, another person asked if he could potentially become All Elite. Breeze did not hesitate, writing, “Would love to be a part of AEW.”
There is no indication that Breeze and AEW have entered negotiations or that Tony Khan has made him an offer. However, Breeze has now publicly expressed interest in joining the company and made it clear that WWE is not standing in the way.
Breeze was released by WWE in June 2021 but remained connected to the company through UpUpDownDown and his friendship with Austin Creed, better known as Xavier Woods. He also spent time working with NXT talent in a coaching role.
His continued involvement caused confusion over whether he was still under WWE contract. Breeze’s response settles that issue and opens the door for him to work anywhere—including AEW.
Breeze is still active in the ring and regularly competes on the independent scene. He also trains wrestlers alongside Shawn Spears at Flatbacks Wrestling School, giving him another direct connection to someone working for AEW.
Breeze has experience, name recognition and a character that could slide into AEW immediately. Now he has publicly told the company that he wants in—the only question is whether Tony Khan will take him up on it.
