Triple H has now joined the wrestling world in paying tribute to PAC following the former AEW and WWE star’s death at the age of 40. The WWE Chief Content Officer reflected on Benjamin Satterley’s impact during the early days of NXT while remembering him as both an exceptional performer and an even better person.
Taking to Twitter after news of PAC’s passing was announced, Triple H looked back on working with Satterley during his run as Neville in WWE. He pointed to NXT Arrival as the beginning of a new chapter for the brand, saying Satterley played a major role in helping shape what NXT would become.
“Saddened to hear about the death of Ben Satterley known in @WWE as Neville. I had the pleasure of working with Ben in the early days of @WWENXT. This moment, from NXT Arrival, marked the beginning of a new era for that brand and the men and women on it … and Ben was a major force behind that. He was an extraordinary talent and even kinder human being. My thoughts are with his family, friends, and fans across the world.”
Triple H’s message came shortly after AEW confirmed Satterley’s passing earlier Sunday. AEW President Tony Khan also shared a personal tribute, remembering him as someone who “defined excellence” both inside and outside the ring.
PAC joined AEW in 2019 after leaving WWE and quickly established himself as one of the company’s top stars. During his run, he captured the inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Championship and the AEW World Trios Championship as a member of Death Triangle, while also delivering standout matches against Kenny Omega and many of AEW’s biggest names.
As tributes continue to pour in from across the wrestling industry, Triple H’s message served as another reminder of the lasting impact PAC made in every company he called home.
