There are a lot of people who are needed to fill the spots in WWE, MLW, AEW, ROH, NJPW and all of the other pro wrestling companies popping up. There is somewhat of a scramble to sign talent which puts free agents in a very good position.
Shane Strickland is a guy that WWE really wants. He was actually supposed to show up at the WWE Performance Center already, but his Lucha Underground contract kept that from happening.
It looks like he is all free from that obligation now. It’s unclear what that means for Lucha Underground, but Swerve Strickland is a free agent.
He made the announcement on his Twitter profile earlier this morning. You have to wonder how long that free agency will last for a guy like Shane Strickland.
