Kenny Omega is heading to Wembley Stadium to crush Will Ospreay’s World Championship dream—but weeks earlier, the two were together for one of the biggest moments of Ospreay’s life. Tony Khan has now revealed that he sat alongside Omega at Ospreay’s wedding.
The AEW President dropped the detail during a conversation with Jack Whitehall ahead of AEW All In 2026. Whitehall pointed out that Ospreay had recently gotten married and could follow it by winning the AEW World Championship in his home country.
“It could be quite a big year for Will Ospreay. He got married recently—probably the happiest day of his life—and now he’s going to be at Wembley Stadium with a chance to win a World Title on home soil in front of the UK fans.”
Khan confirmed that he attended the wedding before revealing that Omega was seated beside him. That is a wild visual considering Omega will soon stand across the ring from Ospreay with the biggest prize in AEW hanging in the balance.
“It was a huge day for him. I actually sat with Kenny Omega at Will Ospreay’s wedding. And now, to be able to go and have Kenny Omega versus Will Ospreay, I think it’s a dream come true for so many wrestling fans.”
Ospreay now has the chance to cap off his huge year by becoming the first Englishman to win the AEW World Championship in England. The only problem is that the man who attended his wedding is coming to Wembley Stadium to stop him.
