Tony Khan knows AEW All In won’t sound like an ordinary wrestling show. With the company returning to Wembley Stadium on August 30, the AEW boss believes the English crowd will once again provide an atmosphere that no other audience can touch.
During a conversation with Jack Whitehall, Khan discussed AEW’s connection to the United Kingdom and why bringing the company back to London means so much to him. He said establishing AEW on ITV was one of his goals from the beginning because of the network’s deep history with professional wrestling.
“I’m so excited to bring AEW back to London. It’s so fun doing shows in the UK. AEW has a great base in the UK. When we first started the promotion, I always told you my goal was to have AEW on ITV, which is a channel fans in England associate with wrestling going back many years to World of Sport. There’s been a lot of wrestling on ITV over the years, and now AEW continues that tradition.”
Wembley Stadium was always part of Khan’s vision as well. After taking a year away from the venue, AEW is returning for All In 2026, and Khan expects the event to rank among the company’s biggest nights.
“We’ve been on for seven years, and you’ve been following it from the very beginning. Wembley Stadium was always my dream—to bring AEW there. Now we’ve had All In, and after a year away, we’ve come back for All In 2026. I think it’s going to be our best show yet.”
Khan then turned his attention to what makes the live experience at Wembley different. He compared the passion of English wrestling crowds to what is seen at football matches, saying the energy inside the stadium can’t be replicated through a television screen.
“The 30th of August, Bank Holiday Sunday—tickets are still available. I think it’s going to be one of AEW’s greatest nights on pay-per-view, but the live experience is so special.”
Then came Khan’s biggest claim. He called English wrestling crowds the loudest and most excited in the world, pointing to the chants, songs and nonstop noise that follow the action from bell to bell.
“The English fans, whether it’s football or wrestling, the support is so unique, very loud and passionate. I think people all over the world love watching the English wrestling fans and the fans who come to London to watch wrestling.”
“They’re the loudest, most excited fans. They’re chanting, cheering and singing during the wrestling matches, and it really inspires and excites wrestling fans all over the world.”
Whitehall backed him up, recalling how the noise inside Wembley during the previous All In felt deafening throughout the show. He has attended football matches at the stadium, but said the atmosphere created by AEW’s audience was unlike anything he had experienced there before.
AEW has loaded up All In 2026 with major matches, but Khan clearly believes the people inside Wembley will be just as important as the wrestlers in the ring. If the English crowd delivers the way it has in the past, AEW’s return to London could become one of the loudest nights in company history.
