TNA Wrestling had more than wrestlers and fans in the building for Lockdown 2026, because a group of entertainment and investment figures were in Chicago discussing a potential strategic relationship with the company that could include raising capital or even investing directly into TNA.
Agent Nick LoPiccolo attended the August 23 pay-per-view at Credit Union 1 Arena, where he was seen backstage and sitting ringside. LoPiccolo previously served as one of the heads of Paradigm Talent Agency’s Sports Group and represented several WWE talents along with boxing legend Mike Tyson before leaving the agency earlier this year to launch his own company, RARESTNDRD.
After Lockdown, LoPiccolo thanked TNA President Carlos Silva for bringing him into the building and gave the promotion a strong endorsement. LoPiccolo made it clear he doesn’t view TNA as a company simply living off its past.
“Thank you to @carlossilva for the access and hospitality at TNA Lockdown tonight. The people are smart, the operation is serious, and the upside is obvious.”
“This isn’t nostalgia. It’s a growth company.”
His presence at TNA Lockdown 2026 was connected to his new venture. RARESTNDRD is being built around talent representation, packaging deals and creating capital platforms for entertainment projects.
LoPiccolo wasn’t alone either. He was joined by music executive Brandon “Brigante” Marquez, a former Director of A&R at Eminem’s Shady Records who also worked with Def Jam, along with Stone Canyon Pictures head Tarek Tohme.
According to PWInsider, the group was in Chicago to hold preliminary discussions with TNA about potentially working together. Those conversations included the possibility of RARESTNDRD helping TNA raise capital or potentially making an investment in the wrestling company itself. Silva served as the main point of contact for the discussions, which were still in the early stages during Lockdown weekend. There’s no indication at this point that an investment or partnership has been finalized.
Still, having a group with backgrounds across talent representation, music, film and investment sitting ringside and meeting with TNA management adds another interesting wrinkle to the company’s current growth plans. LoPiccolo’s public comments after the show certainly didn’t sound like someone who walked away unimpressed.
