Countdown To TNA Lockdown Pre-Show Results (8/23/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The Countdown To TNA Lockdown Pre-Show opens up with a video package. Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt then welcomes us to the show.
We then see the arrivals of The Nemeths and The Hardys.
Hannifan and Rehwoldt then talk about how and where to watch Lockdown 2026.
They then talk about the TNA International Championship Match and we get a video package looking at the match. Hannifan and Rehwoldt then continue to talk about the TNA International Championship Match.
Gia Miller then talks with a fan and asks her what match she is most excited to see. The fan cuts a promo about Allie defending the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles alone.
The Righteous then make their way down to the ring for the first match of the pre-show and Rich Swann and BDE follow.
Tag Team Match: BDE and Rich Swann vs. The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch)
The match starts off with Vincent and Rich Swann and Vincent sends Swann crashing into the corner. Vincent then nails Swann with a couple of clotheslines, but Swann takes down Vincent with a clothesline and tags out to BDE. BDE and Swann then double team Vincent and BDE hits a shotgun dropkick to Vincent. Dutch then tags in and BDE looks to fly off the ropes, but Dutch intercepts him with a clothesline and delivers some right hands on him. Vincent then tags back in and Dutch sends BDE crashing into the mat face first. Vincent then follows it up with a low flatliner and pins BDE, but BDE kicks out and Dutch tags in.
Vincent and Dutch then double teams BDE, hitting a senton-leg drop combination on him. Dutch then pins BDE, but BDE kicks out and Dutch wears him down with a submission hold. Swann then tags back in and hits a Frog Splash to Vincent off the top rope, then looks to double team him with BDE. Dutch then comes to Vincent’s aid and hits a powerslam on him before BDE tags back in and hits a rolling codebreaker on Vincent. He then follows it up with a springboard cutter and goes for a pin, but Vincent kicks out.
BDE then climbs to the top rope, but Dutch pushes him off. This then opens the door for Vincent and Dutch to surround BDE in the ring as the referee checks on Swann. The Righteous then hit an assisted Tornado DDT on BDE and Vincent pins him for the win.

We then head to the back, where The System cuts a promo about the Lethal Lockdown Match.
Daria Rae then joins the panel and they talk about the Lethal Lockdown Match. She predicts The System will win tonight.
We then get a video package looking at the TNA X-Division Championship Match and Rae, Hannifan and Rehwoldt talk about the match.
Candice Michelle then joins the panel and she talks about her experience working with the TNA Knockouts. Michelle says they have some of the most impressive talents and when the cage comes down, they have to take their talents to the next level. The panel then talks about the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship Match. The panel then talks about the Elijah vs. AJ Francis Match and how it will kick off the PPV.
Gia Miller then talks about Kurt Angle and she asks if Nic Nemeth can accomplish what Angle did by holding both the TNA World Title and Tag Team Titles at the same time. The fan says there is no way and The Hardys will win tonight.
Special Agent Zero then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the pre-show and Trey Miguel follows.
Singles Match: Order 4’s Special Agent Zero vs. Trey Miguel
The match starts off with Trey trying to use his speed and aerial ability early, but Zero is unfazed. He then goes for a powerbomb, but they crash over the ropes to the floor. Miguel then goes for a dive, but is swatted down to the mat. Zero then tosses him back into the ring and he hits a suplex. Some fans then chant for Trey, but he eats another clothesline. He then stalks Miguel, who eats another suplex. Miguel then tries to fight back, but is caught going for a high cross body block and is slammed for a two count.
Zero then sets up and charges the corner, but is nailed with an elbow. Miguel then comes off the top, hitting a Meteora. He then hits some chops and strikes. Zero then fires back, but is kicked to the floor. Miguel then hits a springboard dive to the floor. Zero then cuts him off and presses and slams him onto the outside of the ring apron. Zero then misses a charge and is caught with a series of kicks. Miguel then goes for a rana, but is caught and sent into the buckles. Zero then goes for a choke bomb, but is caught in a forward roll for the win.

The panel then talks about the TNA Knockouts World Championship Match and we get a video package looking at the match. Indi Hartwell then joins the panel and she talks about how she is next in line in the TNA Knockouts World Title picture. Daria isn’t happy about that. She says she didn’t want to sign Indi again. Indi then says she knows Daria is in charge and that’s why all the decisions around here suck. She then says the only thing Daria is good at is stinking up the joint. Daria then tells Indi that is strike one and she isn’t getting another warning. Daria then walks off.
Behind the panel, they are lowering and setting up the cage.
We then get a video package looking at the match between Moose and Frankie Kazarian and the panel talks about the match. Ace Steel then joins the panel and they talk about the match. They then talk about the TNA World Tag Team Championship Match.
Gia Miller is now inside the steel cage and she talks about how it feels to be inside the structure. Miller then says legends are made at Lockdown and lives are changed.
The panel then talks about how it feels that Lockdown is finally back and how Avery Styles will join them at the PPV. We then see AJ Francis and Elijah getting ready for their match to kick things off at the PPV and the Countdown To TNA Lockdown Pre-Show comes to a close.
TNA Lockdown Results (8/23/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights
TNA Lockdown opens up with an instrumental version of the Star-Spangled Banner. We then get a Lockdown music video with music provided by TNA’s own Chris Bey.
AJ Francis then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the PPV and Elijah follows.
Steel Cage Match: AJ Francis vs. “The Drifter” Elijah
The match starts off with both men locking up and Francis takes out Elijah with a leaping knee strike for a two count. Francis then goes for a Down Payment, but Elijah escapes with a knee. Elijah then hits a lariat. Elijah then hits a leaping forearm. Elijah then goes to the ropes and walks on them. Elijah then jumps off attacking the arm. Elijah then hits a stunner for a two count. Elijah then comes off the ropes and is caught and sent into the steel cage. Francis then sends Elijah into the steel cage again. Francis then works Elijah over for some time, but misses a splash into the cage and hits the steel himself.
Elijah then goes to the top, but Francis meets him there. They then send each other into the cage, while standing on the top. Elijah then goes for a sunset flip off the cage and hits a powerbomb. He then covers Francis for a two count. They then battle on the top. Elijah then sends Francis down into the ring with a series of forearms and follows it up with a flying elbow off the top for a two count. Elijah then climbs to the top of the cage and Francis follows. Elijah then grabs his arm and walks the top of the cage, but Francis pulls him. Elijah then falls and crotches himself atop of the cage.
Francis then climbs to the top and they sit atop of it battling back and forth with punches. Elijah then gets the better of the punches. Elijah then goes down to the top rope and hits a superplex on Francis into the ring for a two count. Expressions then made his way out in a wheelchair to ringside and he begins screaming at Elijah. That then allows Francis to attack and slam him for a two count. He then demands the cage be opened and the referee agrees. Francis then tries to walk out, which wouldn’t be a finish, but is caught by Elijah and he is hit with an F5 for a two count.
Elijah then goes for the cage door, allowing Expressions to hit him with the cage door. Francis then spears him, but Elijah still kicks out. Expressions then jumps up and reveals he was never hurt in the first place. Francis then goes for a Down Payment, but Elijah escapes to the ropes and hits a Destroyer. Expressions then attacks him and breaks up the pinfall. Elijah then sends him into the cage and drills Francis with a knee to the face while he was on the top. Expressions then tries to escape the cage, but is pulled back in and is sent into the cage again. Elijah then hits a tombstone piledriver on Expressions, but when he goes down, Francis moonsaults atop of him and hits the Down Payment for the win.

After the match, The Home Town Man slides Elijah his acoustic guitar as Francis is busy celebrating his win. Elijah then climbs to the top rope and flies to crack the guitar across Francis’ head.
Tom Hannifan and Matt Rehwoldt then discusses the Lockdown PPV card.
We then head to the back, where Allie says she made calls and found someone to stand with her tonight. Allie then says everyone will find out when The Elegance Brand does.
The Elegance Brand then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Allie and Kiera Hogan follow.
TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship Steel Cage Match: DemonxBunny’s Allie and Kiera Hogan (c) vs. The Elegance Brand (Heather By Elegance and M By Elegance)
The match starts off with Allie working over Heather By Elegance before tagging in Kiera Hogan. Hogan then hits a neckbreaker. She and Allie then tags in and out, working over Heather. Mr. Elegance then climbs the cage, distracting everyone and allowing Heather to use a nightstick on Allie. M and Heather then works over Allie for some time before she is able to tag in Hogan. Hogan then hits a series of offensive maneuvers, including a leap into a leg drop on M. Heather then breaks up the pinfall. Allie then hits a double knee strike to the face. M then takes out Allie. She and Hogan then charges and takes each other out.
With everyone down, The Personal Concierge grabs some handcuffs but he is admonished by the referee. Heather then slips through the bars to escape the cage in order to get the cuffs. Allie then meets her, but is handcuffed to the cage. M then works over Hogan and nails a big suplex. Heather then couldn’t get back into the cage. Allie then slips out of the cuffs, helps Hogan and gets the win.

Escape The Cage Match: “The King Of TNA” Frankie Kazarian vs. “The Face Of The Franchise” Moose
The match starts off with Frankie Kazarian trying to escape immediately, but Moose keeps preventing it. Moose then drills Kazarian across the back. Kazarian then tries to escape out the door, but is pulled back in by his hair and sent into the cage. Moose then sends Kazarian repeatedly into the cage. He then starts to walk out, but changes his mind and tells the referee to close the cage. He then delivers some punches in the corner. Moose then misses a charge in the corner and is worked over. Moose then comes back and hits a double jump moonsault on Kazarian. The crowd then chants for Moose. Moose then spears Kazarian and repeats it again.
Moose then calls for the cage to be open, but Kazarian gives him the finger. Moose then gets upset and closes the cage. He then charges at Kazarian, but is backdropped into the cage and corner. Kazarian then works him over, stomping Moose in the corner. Kazarian then continues to work over Moose. Some fan is then ripping on Kazarian, so Kazarian says, “Your mother’s a w***e.” He then sends Moose hard into the buckles and hits a suplex. He then nails Moose with a hard right. He then escapes a Sky High, but is hit with a double underhook Angel’s Wings. Kazarian then begins berating Moose, slapping him and saying it is his company.
Moose then psyches himself up as the fans chant for him. Moose then asks Kazarian if that is all he has and he headbutts Kazarian. Moose then hits him with a big uranage and a senton back splash. They then battle back and forth. Kazarian then hits a spinning neckbreaker. He then goes for a springboard leg drop off the ropes, but is caught and powerbombed into the cage. Moose then goes to follow up, but Kazarian hits a clothesline. Kazarian then tries to climb out of the cage, but Moose follows him. Kazarian then rakes at his eyes and goes over the cage. Moose then catches him and pulls him back in. Moose then hits a Spanish Fly from the top of the cage and the crowd chants, “This is awesome.”
The referee then opens the cage. Moose then begins to climb out, but Kazarian dives and grabs his leg. Moose then tries to battle free, but is poked in the eye. Moose is then pulled into the ring for a slingshot cutter. They then continue to battle until Moose spears Kazarian several times. The last spear then sends Kazarian backwards through the cage and he crashes to the floor for the win.

After the match, Kazarian grabs his ribs.
Elayna Black then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the PPV and Xia Brookside follows.
TNA Knockouts World Championship Steel Cage Match: Xia Brookside (c) vs. Elayna Black
The match starts off with both women locking up and they muscle each other around the ring. Black then knocks Brookside to the ring and dares Brookside to fight her. Brookside then calls her a b***ch, so Black slaps her and they start scrapping. Black then hits a shotgun dropkick and she follows it up with a head scissors takedown. Black then hits a running knee strike and she follows it up with another. On the third attempt, Brookside ducks and shoves Black over the ropes into the cage, with Black crashing down roughly. Brookside then dropkicks Black into the cage. She then works over Black and pulls a belt off her.
Brookside then uses the point to rip open Black’s forehead. The crowd then chants, “You sick f**k” and Brookside licks the belt. Black is then shown bleeding from the forearm. Brookside then chokes Black with the belt. She then keeps working over Black and hits a leg lariat into the cage. Brookside then continues the attack on Black and Black fires back after surviving several two counts. They then show Indi Hartwell watching from the back. Black then makes a comeback as they battle back and forth. She then hits several clotheslines and a stomp across Brookside’s back. Black then hits a gut-wrench suplex for a two count.
Brookside then hits a Dark Side, but Black kicks out of it. Black then hits her with Blackout for a two count. Brookside then tries to throw powder, but Black ducks it and rolls her up. Brookside then kicks out, throws powder once again and rolls Black up for the win.

Mustafa Ali then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the PPV with Order 4 and Jason Hotch follows.
TNA International Championship Steel Cage Match: Jason Hotch (c) vs. Order 4’s Mustafa Ali
The match starts off with both men locking up. The then battle back and forth. Ali is then sent into the cage and Hotch hits him with a spinning DDT off the ropes for a two count. Ali then battles back. They then battle to the top, where Hotch hits a piledriver off the top and he follows it up with a sunset flip bomb for a two count. Ali then rips at Hotch’s face and hits him with a spinning DDT off the ropes for a two count. Special Agent Zero then opens the cage, but Tasha Steelz closes it and wouldn’t let Ali leave. Mila Moore and Tasha then argues and Tasha nails her. The door then gets slammed opened on Steelz, who is taken out. Hotch then goes to the floor and checks on her with John Skyler. Skyler then carries her to the back.
Ali then dives through the open cage door and drills Hotch. Ali and Hotch then brawls on the floor. Hotch then gets the better of the exchange and places Ali on a table. He then climbs up the cage, looking to hit a move but Ali follows and they battle on the outside of the cage. Ali is then knocked off to the floor. Hotch then makes his way to the top of the cage and dives off onto Ali, smashing him through the table below. Hotch is then shown bleeding from the mouth and is checked by the doctor and officials. They then start carrying him out. Ali then gets in Hotch’s family face in first row and takes a stuffed animal from Hotch’s young daughter. He then uses it to taunt Hotch and tells him if he wants it, come and get it. He then carries it into the cage, kicks it and stomps it.
Mila Moore then gives him a lighter and he teases setting the toy on fire. Hotch then returns to the ring and attacks Ali. Ali then gets the better of it and ties him upside down in the cage. Ali then pulls a belt off Hotch’s tights and begins whipping him. Ali then continues to beat down Hotch and places him on the top rope. Ali then pushes him towards the top of the cage. Ali is then kicked off and he hits a double stomp from the cage. The crowd then chants for TNA. Ali then kicks out at the last second. Hotch then grabs the stuffed animal to return it, but turns into a spear from Ali. Ali then hits a 450 splash off the top turnbuckle, but Hotch kicks out at the last second. Ali then hits another 450 splash for the win.

After the match, John Skyler has some words with Ali before returning to help Hotch out. Hotch then returns the toy to his daughter, kisses his wife and is helped to the back by Skyler.
Gia Miller then interviews AJ Styles’ son Avery Styles. Avery makes his way out to his father’s logo wearing a TNA shirt and is billed as The Phenomenal Son. The crowd then chants for him. Miller says they are excited to have him there. Avery then says his father wouldn’t be who he is without TNA and how much TNA means to his family. Avery then says he won’t be able to become who he is without TNA and announces he has officially signed with TNA.
Frankie Kazarian then makes his way out and says as the king of TNA, he wants to be the first to welcome him aboard. Kazarian then says he and AJ are like brothers. Kazarian then says he, Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels and AJ poured their hearts into making TNA the place it is today. Kazarian then says there’s a lot of snakes in the locker room who will take him out because of his last name, but not him. Kazarian then says there are people who can’t be trusted, but Avery can trust him.
Leon Slater then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the PPV and Cedric Alexander follows.
TNA X-Division Match Last Man Standing Steel Cage Match (If Slater loses, his previous title reign will be erased from history): The System’s “Prime” Cedric Alexander (c) vs. “The Youngest In Charge” Leon Slater
The match starts off with both men locking up. They then battle back and forth in the ring, slugging it out. Alexander then sends Slater into the cage, but Slater rebounds and drills him and follows it up with a big boot to the face. He then delivers some punches in the corner. Slater then hits a rana off the top rope into the ring. He then charges at Alexander and hits him with a Michinoku Driver. Alexander then chops away at Slater and tries to send him into the cage. They then battle, blocking each other from using the cage. Slater then gets the better of the exchange and hits a big kick. Slater then climbs the cage and dives off to hit a back elbow. The referee then begins counting them both down on the mat.
They then make it up before the count of ten. Slater then nails Alexander in the corner. Alexander then makes a comeback and lawn darts Slater into the cage. He then says it is over. Slater then makes it to his feet but he is busted open and he falls back to the mat. Alexander then works him over with chops in the corner and follows it up with big right hands. He then hits a big dropkick to the back. Slater then battles back. They then fight to the top rope. Alexander then works him over with right hands. Slater then fires back with rapid chops. Alexander then catches him and hits him with a Michinoku Driver off the top rope and to the floor. Alexander then goes for a move, but it is transitioned into a Destroyer by Slater. Slater then sends Alexander into the cage repeatedly.
The crowd then chants for Slater. He then hits a running boot to the face. Slater then keeps beating on Alexander and pulls him into a spinning Torture Rack before slamming him to the mat. Slater then goes to the top for a swanton 450, but Alexander moves. Slater then rolls through, but is met with a kick to the head. They then battle on the top rope in one of the corners. Alexander is then hit with a twisting superplex into the ring. Both men are down and they fight to get to their feet. At nine, they grab each other and use the other to pull themselves to their feet. The crowd then goes back and forth with chants as they fight back and forth. Slater then hits Alexander with a kick and follows it up with a windmill kick to the back of the head. Slater then hits a Lumbar Check over and over again. Slater then hits a 450 splash off the top. Alexander is then counted down as he is unable to get to his feet.

We then head to the back, where Daria Rae is complaining to someone about how she was spoken to by Indi Hartwell. She then tells them she will see them Thursday. She is then told there was another attack and she comes across Santino Marella checking on a downed Elijah. She then tells Santino he is Director of Authority so it is his problem to deal with and she walks off.
Bear Bronson then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the PPV first for The System and Fabian Aicher follows for his team.
Lethal Lockdown Match: The System (Eddie Edwards, “The Most Professional Wrestler” Brian Myers, Bear Bronson and Alisha Edwards) vs. “The Young Savage” Ricky Sosa, “Il Gladiatore” Fabian Aichner, “The Blessed One” KC Navarro and “The Spark” Jada Stone
The match starts off with both men battling in the cage. Aichner then hits a Lou Thesz Press and works over Bear. He then hits a back suplex on Bear. Bear then hits one of his own. Aichner then hits a spear on Bear. Brian Myers then makes his way down to the ring next for The System and they double team Aichner before hitting a double suplex. KC Navarro then makes his way down to the ring next out to even up the odds. He then nails Myers down and sends Bear into the cage. He then helps Aichner up and everyone battles back and forth. Next out is Eddie Edwards, but Navarro attacks him on the floor and sends Edwards into the ring post. That then allows things to be even for some time.
Edwards is then shown to be busted open when he enters the ring. The System then briefly has the advantage until Ricky Sosa makes his way down to the ring. He then hits several big kicks and moves, including a cutter on Bear and a double stomp on Edwards. Next out for The System is Alisha Edwards. She goes to slap Sosa, who blocks it. The System then attacks Sosa from behind and they beat down the opposition. Myers then holds Navarro for Alisha to slap him. Next out is Jada Stone. Bear then steps out of the cage to block her so she goes past him and scales the cage. She then dives off the top onto everyone. Bear then begins throwing other weapons into the cage and everyone starts to brawl. Trash cans, a barbed wire bat and chairs are all then used. Stone then hits Alisha with a Singapore Cane.
Eddie then climbs the cage, but is attacked by KC. He is then sent down to the ring and KC hits him with a splash for a two count. Alisha then begins dishing out low blows. She then kicks Aichner low, but is hit by Stone. Stone then attacks Edwards with it and nails him with a superkick. Stone then dumps thumbtacks into the ring. She and Alisha then battle to the top. Stone then superplexes Edwards and they land in the tacks. Aichner then smashes Eddie with a trash can over the head. Aichner then hits a Van Terminator, drilling a trash can to Edwards’ face. Bear then begins beating everyone with a barbed wire bat. He then sets up a barbed wire board in the corner. Bear then tries to powerslam Navarro into it, but Navarro slips out and superkicks him. Sosa then charges and nails Bear with a running back elbow, smashing him through the board and trapping him in the barbed wire.
Sosa then hits a Blue Thunder Bang into the tacks on Myers and pulls a spool of barbed wire off the roof. He then wraps it around his arm and smashes Myers with it for a two count. Alisha then breaks it up and blocks Sosa from seeing Edwards coming from behind with a Boston Knee Party. They then plug Destination X on November 15th. They then announce Jason Hotch and John Skyler vs. Mustafa Ali and Special Agent Zero for this Thursday’s live iMPACT on AMC.
The Nemeths then make their way down to the ring for the main event of the PPV and The Hardys follow.
TNA World Tag Team Championship Texas Tornado Steel Cage Match: The Hardys (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) (c) vs. The Nemeths (TNA World Champion “The Wanted Man” Nic Nemeth and “The Hollywood Hunk” Ryan Nemeth)
The match starts off with all four men in the ring and The Nemeths battled with The Hardys having the early advantage. The Hardys then double team Ryan and get a two count. Jeff then jumps off Matt’s back to nail Nic for a two count. The Nemeths then take control as the crowd chant for The Hardys. Nic then hits Jeff with a Danger Zone for a two count. Ryan then stomps on Jeff in the corner. Nic then goes to sends Matt into the cage, but is bit on the hand. The crowd then chants The Nemeths suck. Nic then sets up a table in the corner. Matt then battles back and goes for a Twist of Fate on Ryan, but he is fought off. Jeff then nails his own on Nic, but Nic bounces into the ropes and comes back with a superkick on Jeff. The crowd then chants for TNA as all four men are down and battling back to their feet.
All four men then battle again. Ryan is then sent into the turnbuckles over and over by Matt. Jeff then jumps off Matt’s back and nails Nic. Matt then hits him with a Side Effect. Jeff then hits a splash on Nic, but Ryan breaks up the pinfall. He then hits Ryan with a neckbreaker, but Nic breaks it up. Matt then sends Nick across the cage. The Hardys then set up a table. The crowd then chants they wanted tables. Nic is then placed on the table, but Ryan lowblows Matt. Jeff then goes for a Twist of Fate on Nic, but is superkicked by Nic. The battle then continues. Matt then hits a Side Effect on Nic, but is attacked by Ryan. Ryan is then hit with a Twist of Fate and placed on the table. Jeff then goes to the top rope, but changes his mind and goes to the top of the cage. Nic then attacks Matt and follows Jeff up the cage.
He then pulls Jeff down and they battle standing on the rope. Jeff is then crotched. Matt then goes for a Twist of Fate, but Ryan rolls him up. Ryan is then hit with another Twist of Fate and is placed back on the table. Matt then climbs up and comes off the middle of the cage with an elbow through the table. Nic then hits Matt with a Danger Zone and gets the win before Jeff, caught in the cage, could make the save.

After the match, TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater made his way out and says he did everything he said he was going to do. Slater then says his legacy in the X-Division is cemented so at Bound For Glory he is using Option C to challenge Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Title. Slater then says he will become the youngest TNA World Champion in company history. Slater then hands the belt to TNA President Carlos Silva. Nic Nemeth then tries to attack Slater, but he is laid out by Slater. Slater then stands tall as TNA Lockdown comes to a close.
