Countdown To TNA Lockdown Pre-Show Results (8/23/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The Countdown To TNA Lockdown Pre-Show opens up with a video package. Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt then welcomes us to the show.

We then see the arrivals of The Nemeths and The Hardys.

Hannifan and Rehwoldt then talk about how and where to watch Lockdown 2026.

They then talk about the TNA International Championship Match and we get a video package looking at the match. Hannifan and Rehwoldt then continue to talk about the TNA International Championship Match.

Gia Miller then talks with a fan and asks her what match she is most excited to see. The fan cuts a promo about Allie defending the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles alone.

The Righteous then make their way down to the ring for the first match of the pre-show and Rich Swann and BDE follow.

Tag Team Match: BDE and Rich Swann vs. The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch)

The match starts off with Vincent and Rich Swann and Vincent sends Swann crashing into the corner. Vincent then nails Swann with a couple of clotheslines, but Swann takes down Vincent with a clothesline and tags out to BDE. BDE and Swann then double team Vincent and BDE hits a shotgun dropkick to Vincent. Dutch then tags in and BDE looks to fly off the ropes, but Dutch intercepts him with a clothesline and delivers some right hands on him. Vincent then tags back in and Dutch sends BDE crashing into the mat face first. Vincent then follows it up with a low flatliner and pins BDE, but BDE kicks out and Dutch tags in.

Vincent and Dutch then double teams BDE, hitting a senton-leg drop combination on him. Dutch then pins BDE, but BDE kicks out and Dutch wears him down with a submission hold. Swann then tags back in and hits a Frog Splash to Vincent off the top rope, then looks to double team him with BDE. Dutch then comes to Vincent’s aid and hits a powerslam on him before BDE tags back in and hits a rolling codebreaker on Vincent. He then follows it up with a springboard cutter and goes for a pin, but Vincent kicks out.

BDE then climbs to the top rope, but Dutch pushes him off. This then opens the door for Vincent and Dutch to surround BDE in the ring as the referee checks on Swann. The Righteous then hit an assisted Tornado DDT on BDE and Vincent pins him for the win.

We then head to the back, where The System cuts a promo about the Lethal Lockdown Match.

Daria Rae then joins the panel and they talk about the Lethal Lockdown Match. She predicts The System will win tonight.

We then get a video package looking at the TNA X-Division Championship Match and Rae, Hannifan and Rehwoldt talk about the match.

Candice Michelle then joins the panel and she talks about her experience working with the TNA Knockouts. Michelle says they have some of the most impressive talents and when the cage comes down, they have to take their talents to the next level. The panel then talks about the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship Match. The panel then talks about the Elijah vs. AJ Francis Match and how it will kick off the PPV.

Gia Miller then talks about Kurt Angle and she asks if Nic Nemeth can accomplish what Angle did by holding both the TNA World Title and Tag Team Titles at the same time. The fan says there is no way and The Hardys will win tonight.

Special Agent Zero then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the pre-show and Trey Miguel follows.

The match starts off with Zero getting the advantage. Miguel then tries to fight back, but Zero nails him. Zero then dominates Miguel. Miguel then hits a flurry of offense and follows it up with a splash.
