Cedric Alexander better start stretching now, because his X Division Title defense at Slammiversary just turned into a six-man car crash.
TNA officially locked in the field for the Ultimate X match at Slammiversary 2026, and the champion is walking into Boston with five guys trying to snatch his title out of the sky.
Cedric Alexander was already set for the match, and Leon Slater was already in the mix. Then TNA used the June 18 episode of Thursday Night iMPACT to finish the lineup, adding Frankie Kazarian, Mr. Elegance, Fabian Aichner, and K.C. Navarro.
So now it’s Cedric Alexander defending the TNA X Division Championship against Leon Slater, Frankie Kazarian, Mr. Elegance, Fabian Aichner, and K.C. Navarro in Ultimate X.
That is a brutal night for any champion. Cedric does not even have to get pinned to lose the belt. Nobody has to make him tap. One guy just has to climb across those cables, rip the title down, and suddenly Cedric is standing there empty-handed wondering what the hell just happened.
That is what makes Ultimate X so dangerous. It is not about being the best wrestler on paper. It is about surviving bodies flying everywhere, catching the right opening, and not getting wiped out before the belt comes down. Leon Slater already gave the match serious speed and hype. Kazarian adds experience. Aichner brings power. Navarro brings flash. Mr. Elegance brings his own brand of nonsense. Cedric is stuck in the middle of all of it with the title everyone wants.
Slammiversary 2026 was already looking loaded, but now the X Division has its big chaos match locked and ready to go. If TNA wants something that can steal the show, this is the match built for it.
