TNA didn’t waste any time making this one official. After Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw — formerly known in WWE as Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis — made their surprise arrival during the TNA iMPACT episode of September 24, 2026, the company took to social media and announced that both men have officially signed with TNA Wrestling.
The announcement came shortly after Sawyer and Shaw were revealed as the mystery attackers who had been terrorizing the TNA roster for weeks. Their biggest target came Thursday night when The Hardys marched to the ring demanding answers and finally got more than they bargained for.
Matt and Jeff Hardy called out whoever had been behind the attacks, but things quickly went sideways. Static filled the video screen, the lights started flickering and the arena eventually went dark before two hooded figures appeared behind The Hardys. Those men were Sawyer and Shaw, who jumped Matt and Jeff from behind before revealing themselves. The word “Syx” also appeared across the screen above the stage, immediately raising questions about whether the duo is part of something even bigger.
TNA then removed any doubt about whether this was just a one-night appearance. Shortly after the segment aired, the company announced on social media that both Sawyer and Shaw have signed with TNA.
What still isn’t clear is exactly what “Syx” means or whether Sawyer and Shaw are the only pieces of this new act. With TNA making their signings official so quickly after the reveal, it looks like this story is only getting started.
