TNA may have another Slammiversary surprise ready to go, since they’re now planning on bringing a TNA Hall of Famer this week.

According to PWInsider, TNA is bringing in one of its Hall of Fame members for a role at this weekend’s Slammiversary pay-per-view. The name has not been confirmed yet, but there is a creative pitch for a Hall of Famer to be part of the show.

“TNA is bringing in one of the company’s Hall of Fame members for a role at this weekend’s Slammiversary PPV, PWInsider.com has confirmed. We are told there is a creative pitch for a Hall of Famer to be part of the event.”

That opens the door to a lot of possibilities. TNA’s Hall of Fame includes names like Abyss, Kurt Angle, Team 3D, Ken Shamrock, Mickie James, Awesome Kong, Gail Kim, The Beautiful People, Mike Tenay, Raven, Rhino, Sting, Earl Hebner, and Traci Brooks. ODB has also been named for the Class of 2026.

This comes after it was previously reported that TNA is also expected to debut a former WWE talent at Slammiversary weekend, described as a former multi-time singles champion. TNA has already announced Amazing Red’s return as well.

Bottom line, Slammiversary in Boston may be loaded with more than just the advertised card. Between Amazing Red, a mystery former WWE talent, and now a Hall of Famer possibly getting involved, TNA looks like it wants people watching closely.
