Ari Emanuel is stepping deeper into the spotlight—this time as co-host of a fiery new X Original podcast called Rushmore, alongside music industry executive Ben Persky. The series officially launched on September 30, with weekly episodes arriving every Tuesday.

Emanuel is no stranger to cameras, having inspired Jeremy Piven’s Entourage character Ari Gold and appeared in various interviews and media over the years. But Rushmore marks a full-fledged entry into the podcast world, where he and Persky welcome high-profile guests to debate their picks for the GOATs across sports, music, entertainment, tech, fashion, and more.

Season 1 is stacked with powerhouse names including Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Elon Musk, Shaquille O’Neal, Bobby Kotick, Rick Rubin, Jimmy Iovine, Bob Costas, Al Michaels, Reggie Miller, and Doris Kearns Goodwin, among others.

“Rushmore is where the GOAT game we all love gets real, played each week by some of the biggest names in culture,” Emanuel said. “This is where legends – and egos – collide.”

Mitchell Smith, Head of Original Content at X, explained the show’s fit for the platform: “As the world’s group chat, X is the platform for declaring & debating what truly defines greatness, which makes Rushmore a perfect fit for X Originals.”

The show is produced by The Pat McAfee Show with support from Pantheon Media Group, adding another heavyweight title to X’s growing list of Originals alongside Inside the NFL, Khloé in Wonder Land, and Stockton Street from Venus and Serena Williams.

With egos, opinions, and legends all clashing weekly, Rushmore is aiming to settle some of pop culture’s biggest arguments—or at least stir them up all over again.

What’s your Mount Rushmore of all-time greats in sports or music? Do you agree with the guest picks—or think they’ve lost it? Drop your four below and join the debate.
