Tessa Blanchard was just trying to joke around with a friend about some TNA drama, but somebody decided to drag one of the biggest controversies of her career into it. Blanchard wasn’t having it and quickly made it clear she’s tired of going around in circles over the same allegations.
On November 6, Tessa Blanchard reacted to Mila Moore breaking things off with Jason Hotch on TNA television. She jokingly gave Moore a hard time over the whole thing.
“You’re a cruel cruel woman !!!!!!”
That probably would have been the end of it, except one fan jumped into the replies and brought up the racism controversy that has followed Blanchard since 2020.
“You spit on a black woman and you’re calling someone else cruel??”
Instead of getting into another Twitter war, Blanchard shut the conversation down. She explained that she was literally just commenting to a friend and said she’s worked hard on herself since everything that happened.
“I’m just commenting to a friend. Please don’t turn that into something it’s not. I’ve worked hard to grow as a woman, and I’m still learning every day. I’m not interested in going back and forth. Let’s move past the same tired judgments. Por fin.”
The baggage behind that reply goes back years. La Rosa Negra accused Blanchard of calling her the N-word and spitting on her during an incident in Japan, allegations Blanchard has disputed. Things took another turn in December 2025 when Blanchard revealed that she and La Rosa Negra had actually patched things up. She shared private messages between them and said they still occasionally talk about wrestling.
“La Rosa and I are on very good terms and talk every now and then, usually about wrestling! Would love to get her in TNA one day.”
Blanchard also said at the time that they remember what happened differently, but both had moved forward. Nearly a year later, she clearly doesn’t want every random Twitter interaction turning into another argument about it.
This time, Blanchard didn’t try to relitigate what happened in Japan or spend all night fighting with strangers online. She said her piece, pointed to the work she believes she’s done on herself and basically told everyone she’s ready to leave the same old fight behind.
