Tessa Blanchard isn’t trying to erase her time in TNA now that she’s moving forward with MLW. In fact, Blanchard says she reached the top of the mountain during her run there and feels like she accomplished everything there was for her to accomplish.

During an appearance on TMZ’s Inside the Ring, Blanchard was asked to briefly look back on her departure from TNA and name her favorite moment or match from her time with the company. Blanchard immediately pointed to her lengthy feud with Sami Callihan, explaining that the program lasted most of a year and gave her a chance to grow in a role she hadn’t really explored before.

“Probably probably my feud with Sammy Callahan. It lasted the better part of 8 to nine months, and I feel like that’s a feud that I really grew in. Um, it’s something where I got to hone in on uh a babyface type character that I had never done before.”

Blanchard then made it clear that she has no regrets about the time she spent in TNA. She said the company helped her grow both personally and professionally, while also giving her friendships she expects to keep for life. That’s when she dropped the biggest line of the conversation, saying she reached the mountaintop and did everything possible during her time there.

“And it’s something that I’ll forever be grateful for. My time in TNA is something, yeah, I’ll I’ll forever be grateful for. I learned about myself as an athlete, as a woman. I grew um I created friendships that’ll last a lifetime. And I reached the mountaintop. I did everything that you can possibly do in that company and and I’m so grateful for the people that believed in me in that time, but I think now uh you know it’s I’m ready to open a new chapter.”

That doesn’t mean Blanchard is completely shutting the door on everyone connected to TNA. She said she still supports her friends there and praised the company’s current leadership, but her attention is now on what comes next with MLW.

“It’s not it’s not closing one per se because I still support my friends and everything that they’re doing there. I think they’ve got great leadership. Um but I’m just I’m excited to open this new chapter with MLW now.”

Blanchard’s TNA run came with some of the biggest moments of her career, but she clearly feels there isn’t unfinished business she needs to chase there right now. She climbed as high as she could in the company, and now she’s ready to see what she can build somewhere else.

Do you think Tessa Blanchard really accomplished everything there was to accomplish in TNA, or would you like to see her return someday? Let us know what you think in the comments.
