Ted DiBiase Jr. made a surprise appearance at WrestleMania 42 — marking one of his first public wrestling-related sightings since being cleared in his federal case.
The former WWE star was in attendance at WrestleMania 42 inside Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and shared a photo of himself sitting in the crowd during the show. His presence quickly caught attention, especially given everything he’s gone through over the past year.
The moment carried extra meaning because of DiBiase Jr.’s past ties to the WrestleMania 42 main event. He was part of the Legacy faction back in 2009 alongside Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes, the same two stars who headlined WrestleMania Saturday with Rhodes defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Orton.
DiBiase Jr.’s appearance comes shortly after a major legal victory. In March, he was acquitted on all charges tied to the Mississippi welfare funds scandal, including conspiracy, wire fraud, theft involving federal programs, and money laundering.
Now that he’s been spotted at WrestleMania 42 and already announced for fan appearances during WrestleMania weekend, it looks like DiBiase Jr. is slowly stepping back into the wrestling spotlight after years away.
Do you think Ted DiBiase Jr. showing up at WrestleMania 42 means he could become more involved in wrestling again, or was this just a one-time appearance? Let us know your thoughts.
