2. Kenny Omega

Omega’s aura and star power is incredible for someone who has not worked in WWE, and his stock continued to rise all through 2017 in Taz’s opinion.

Taz knows that NJPW pays their talents very well, especially their top stars. He doesn’t think Omega has any financial motivation to move to WWE at all, and he thinks the only way we’ll see Omega in WWE at some point in the future is if that’s a personal goal of his. Taz admits that he hopes Omega never goes to WWE because he’d be one of the only top stars in the history of the business to prove that you can build an entire career and make a successful living without having to work for the “WWE machine”.

1. Cody Rhodes

Taz is amazed by what Rhodes has accomplished over the last year. His star power is at a higher level now working the indies than it was when he worked for WWE, the biggest wrestling promotion in the world. He says that Rhodes clearly has a chip on his shoulder, and he hopes Rhodes never loses that.

Honourable Mentions

Taz gives honourable mentions to several wrestlers including The Miz, Braun Strowman, Johnny Morrison, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte.

That sums up today’s episode of The Taz Show. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya tomorrow for another recap!
