He points out that he always tries to be honest with his fans on social media and on this show, so this type of Twitter ‘work’ isn’t really his thing. He also points out that this type of thing is quite easy to do, but if you do it once it’ll be extremely difficult to ever pull off again. Nonetheless, it appears to have worked for Jericho and Omega and he gives them credit for that.

He actually thinks this was a pretty smart idea by Jericho and Omega, as this has stirred up a significant amount of momentum for Wrestle Kingdom 12. He’s sure it’s going to be a great match because Omega is fantastic and Jericho can still perform at a high level in the ring. To summarize, Taz says that he doesn’t think it was bad that these two guys ‘worked’ their fans on Twitter, but he wouldn’t want to do it out of fear of angering his fans and losing their trust.
A listener calls into the show and asks Taz where he thinks Roman Reigns is headed when he returns from injury, after teaming back up with The Shield. Taz is unsure at this point because WWE could take Reigns in a thousand different directions when he returns. The caller also says that he thinks Reigns is lacking his own personality, but Taz disagrees, saying Reigns is a huge star who made it on his own after The Shield’s initial break up.
