Taya Valkyrie is trying her hand at music, and her first project is officially out.

The AEW star released her debut EP, Fake, on Friday, October 23, after spending weeks teasing the project on social media. The release features four tracks — “Witch,” “Treat,” “Fight,” and “Fake.”

Valkyrie also had a simple birthday request for her fans. She jumped on social media and asked everyone to give her new music a listen and add it to their playlists.

This isn’t something Valkyrie threw together overnight. She’s been promoting the project for weeks and even held a listening party at The Abbey in West Hollywood ahead of the release.

Valkyrie has been keeping herself busy outside the ring lately. Along with recording music, she appeared on the fourth season of The Traitors Canada, showing she’s interested in doing more than just wrestling. Now she’s giving fans something else to check out. Fake is available on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and other major streaming platforms.

Valkyrie hasn’t indicated that she’s stepping away from wrestling, but she’s clearly looking to make a name for herself in music too. Whether fans take to her new sound remains to be seen.
