Tatum Paxley is officially getting her first SmackDown match next week.
WWE set the match up during the August 21 episode of Friday Night SmackDown after Paxley crossed paths backstage with Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Jade Cargill, B-Fab and Michin. Things got tense quickly, and Michin ended up challenging Paxley to a singles match for next week’s show.
Paxley has already made her presence felt on the main roster. Earlier this month, she made her SmackDown debut by coming to Charlotte Flair’s aid during Flair’s match against Jade Cargill, helping even the odds against B-Fab and Michin. Now she’ll finally get the chance to compete inside a SmackDown ring.
The match against Michin will mark Paxley’s official in-ring debut on the blue brand and, as of now, it is the only match WWE has announced for next week’s episode.
WWE has already started putting Paxley into the mix with some of SmackDown’s biggest women, and next week will be her first real chance to show what she can do on the main roster.
