Talk is Jericho Recap – Discussing ALL IN Appearance, Surprise Was Nearly Spoiled, Decision to Leave Face Paint On, More!

Jericho points out that the times worked out great and he was able to do both ALL IN and his Fozzy show on the same night. He notes that it can be tough working around Fozzy shows sometimes. He was in discussion with Vince McMahon to replace Shane McMahon at WrestleMania last year and they were struggling to move a Fozzy show around WrestleMania so that he could do both, but Shane defied the odds and worked through an injury at that event.
He adds that Cody Rhodes set up a private plane to take him from ALL IN directly to Kanas City for his Fozzy show. Initially they were thinking about moving the Fozzy show to earlier in the day, but it worked out better to delay the Fozzy show until later in the night. Fozzy’s Manager called the venue and told them they needed to start later and that’s what they did.

Jericho informs that his flight was supposed to land in Chicago at 5:30 and his run-in spot was scheduled for 9. The ALL IN pre-show started at 5 so he figured most fans would already be at the show and wouldn’t see him arriving at the airport. Unfortunately his flight was late getting in, and then they had plane issues which kept them on the runway longer than normal.
After making his way through the airport terminal one fan in a Bullet Club t-shirt started snapping pictures. Jericho sent Slade after him and made him delete the pictures. The fan agreed to delete the pictures right away, but that’s how close they were to having the entire surprise spoiled.
