WWE is preparing a major celebrity twist for the July 27 episode of Monday Night RAW, with boxer Ryan Garcia expected to become involved with The Judgment Day.
Fightful Select reports that Garcia will appear during Joe Hendry and Danhausen’s live concert segment before being paired with the heel faction. The exact details of the angle have not been revealed, but the segment is expected to establish Garcia’s connection with The Judgment Day heading into SummerSlam.
Hendry and Danhausen were already advertised to perform a special concert during the SummerSlam go-home edition of RAW. Garcia’s involvement now gives the segment a much bigger purpose than simply entertaining the crowd.
The Judgment Day has endured a difficult stretch, and Raquel Rodriguez will also challenge Sol Ruca for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship during the show. Adding Garcia to the group could give the faction another weapon while creating a fresh celebrity storyline for WWE television.
Garcia has crossed into the wrestling world before and has never hidden his interest in WWE. Pairing him with The Judgment Day would place him alongside Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, Liv Morgan and Rodriguez, depending on which members are involved in the segment.
Garcia’s expected alliance with The Judgment Day gives WWE another major moment for the final RAW before SummerSlam, but the real question is what role the boxer will play once he gets involved in Hendry and Danhausen’s concert.
