Maxxine Dupri may not be getting much ring time lately, but WWE might still have plans for her on television.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dupri’s brief appearance on the May 11 episode of Raw could mean WWE is looking at her for a different kind of role. She was seen already sitting in the car with Logan Paul and Austin Theory when The Vision was leaving the building. Meltzer noted that he does not know if the moment will lead anywhere, but some people believe it could be a sign of something coming.
“I don’t know if this will end up meaning anything, although some believe it will, but on Raw when The Vision was leaving and they asked Jackie Redmond to leave Raw with them (she didn’t), already in the car was Maxine Dupri.”
Dupri has not had a proper singles match on WWE television since losing to Natalya on the March 16, 2026 episode of Raw. Since then, she has mostly disappeared from an in-ring role. Meltzer pointed out that WWE may still want to keep Dupri involved because of her television presence, even if she is not being pushed as a wrestler right now.
“Dupri has disappeared as a wrestler after the fans kind of didn’t go for her being pushed before she was ready. Given that WWE is so heavily a cosmetic business, they’re going to try and try to get someone who looks like that in a television role.”
That makes the Raw car segment more interesting. Dupri showing up with Logan Paul and Austin Theory may have just been a quick visual, but it could also be WWE testing a new on-screen direction for her. For now, nothing has been officially announced. Still, Dupri’s days as a regular in-ring focus may be on hold while WWE figures out how to use her in a different television role.
