Nikkita Lyons made her long-awaited return to the ring last month after being out for several months due to injury. Since coming back, she quickly jumped into a new storyline, and now there’s growing speculation that Lyons might be turning heel soon.
On the October 22nd episode of WWE NXT, Femi attacked Luca Crusifino with a brutal beatdown, while Adriana Rizzo was found assaulted backstage. To make matters more interesting, Oba Femi and Nikkita Lyons had a brief segment following Rizzo’s attack where it appeared as if WWE was booking a romance angle between them, but it could be something else entirely.
While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez speculated on who Adrianna Rizzo’s attacker could be. After much consideration, he came to the conclusion that Lyons would likely be revealed as the attacker. Considering the fact that Nikkita Lyons came back as a babyface, her being revealed as the attack would effectively turn her heel.
“Which we have been led to believe is Nikkita Lyons.”
Tony D’Angelo defeated Oba Femi during NXT Halloween Havoc, thus retaining the NXT Women’s North American Championship. Prior to the event, D’Angelo had vowed to find Rizzo’s attacker, so it’s likely fans will get a better idea during this week’s episode of NXT, as Nikkita Lyons seems to be the most likely candidate for that role.
