Seth Rollins may be fighting The Vision as a babyface right now, but he knows exactly where he feels most comfortable.

While speaking to ESPN, Rollins was asked whether he has enjoyed being the hero or the villain more throughout his WWE career. Rollins admitted that being a babyface is not where he feels strongest, even though he can make it work for short stretches.

“You know, the truth is I’m not very good at being the hero. I can do it in short spurts, but I’m not like John Cena or Rey Mysterio.”

The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion then explained that he gets tired of himself in that role and believes fans may feel the same way. Because of that, he feels much more natural playing a heel.

“I get bored of myself, and I think people get bored of me. I much prefer being a bad guy—I think it suits me better. But most of my favorite moments are being a piece of trash.”

Rollins is currently a babyface as he continues his feud with The Vision, but his track record as a heel speaks for itself. Many still remember his 2015 WWE Championship run after cashing in at WrestleMania 31, when he became one of the company’s top villains. For Rollins, it doesn’t sound like a close call. He can play the hero when needed, but his own view is that he is at his best when he is making people boo.
