Ryan Nemeth just fired off a controversial tweet about straight edge people— and he didn’t need to name names to get people talking.

Nemeth took to Twitter and ripped into what he sees as hypocrisy from certain straight edge personalities, suggesting some people loudly preach about keeping their bodies clean while allegedly making an exception for PEDs.

“I love that straight edge guys are like NOTHING! IS! EVER! GOING! IN! MY! BODY! EVER! except PEDs which I will be putting in my body actually very often now because I do steroids, but of course that does not break my sacred vow. I am more disciplined than you :)”

Nemeth didn’t say who he was talking about, but the post definitely came with bite. The message mocked the idea of someone building their whole identity around discipline and clean living, only to allegedly bend the rules when it benefits them physically.

The straight edge lifestyle has always been tied to rejecting drugs and alcohol, especially in wrestling where certain stars have made it part of their public image. Nemeth’s post takes aim at that image and turns it into a full-on hypocrisy callout.

For now, Nemeth has not clarified whether the tweet was aimed at anyone specific. Still, the wording was sharp enough to make people wonder exactly who he had in mind. Nemeth may have kept names out of it, but the message was loud and clear. He thinks some straight edge people are not as clean as they claim, and he had no problem saying it publicly.

Do you think Ryan Nemeth was just making a general statement, or do you believe he was targeting someone specific? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comments below.
