Ross welcomes Kevin Nash to the show.
Nash informs that his goal was always to make it to WWE once he started training to become a professional wrestler. He was lucky enough to make it to WWE and live his dream, but all those years of wrestling took a toll on his body. He recently had a complete knee replacement and he hopes to have more mobility after his rehab concludes.
Speaking about the rumoured return of the XFL, Nash thinks the original XFL was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. Vince McMahon doesn’t want any black marks on his track record, and Nash thinks this is McMahon’s way of trying to fix his previous failure. Ross believes that Triple H is next in line to take over for McMahon at the helm of WWE and Nash agrees, adding that his friendship with Triple H has nothing to do with his opinion in this matter.
Nash recalls a conversation he had with McMahon at WrestleMania a few years ago. McMahon told him that when Nash was breaking into the business all the talents were fighting for the WWE Championship. Nowadays, all the wrestlers follow McMahon around waiting for him to anoint them Champion and that’s a big difference from years gone by.
Nash informs that he will proably work until the day he dies, but nowadays he wants to work on his own terms. Fans constantly ask him about returning to WWE, even as a commentator or something of that nature. He points out that any position in WWE is tough because it’s a full time job requiring travel and attending meetings, not to mention working the actual shows.
