Powell says he’s unsure if Strowman is going to defeat Lesnar for the Universal Championship at No Mercy but if he doesn’t, Powell suspects we’ll see some sort of a screwjob finish. Powell says that in some ways Strowman feels like the hottest commodity in WWE right now, so he doubt’s we’ll see Lesnar pin Strowman clean.

Powell wonders why WWE has chosen to book Cena/Reigns and Lesnar/Strowman now, instead of saving these matches for WrestleMania. Ross thinks the WWE Network has changed WWE’s philosophy in terms of how they book their shows. He thinks it’s smart of WWE to book these matches while the iron is hot, because anything can happen between now and WrestleMania which would prevent it from happening then.

That sums up this week’s episode of The Ross Report. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya next week for another recap!
