Borash is thrilled for Matt and Jeff Hardy who have returned to WWE and now are embracing the “Broken/Woken” character. Ross mentions that he’s glad to see those guys back in WWE because their in-ring careers are winding down and this is a chance for them to earn some good money before they retire. Ross also points out that with Matt and Jeff leaving Impact, the door opened for another act to take the lead.

Borash agrees and believes that LAX is an act that has the chance to get really hot in the coming weeks and months. Ross thinks that Konnan is one of the most underrated minds in the wrestling business, and Konnan’s involvement in that faction really helped the other guys in his opinion.

Ross closes the show by bringing on Johnny Morrison to answer a couple of fan questions.

A listener writes into the show and asks Morrison who he’d choose to wrestle at WrestleMania if he could pick any opponent, past or present. Morrison says he’d pick “Macho Man” Randy Savage, because he always looked up to Savage as a performer and as a wrestling personality.

Another listener asks Morrison about the differences between 4-sided and 6-sided rings. Morrison points out that there are subtle differences for the performers, but he doesn’t think there are any differences at all from a viewer’s perspective. In his opinion, there simply isn’t any need for 6-sided rings.

That sums up this week’s episode of The Ross Report. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya next week for another recap!
